My 10 Most Played Songs on Spotify for 2019

Spotify sent through a rather cool email yesterday. It linked to a 14-page multimedia summary of my 2019 listening habits. Admittedly I switched to Apple Music halfway through the year so it’s only January to June but it was still interesting.

So without further ado, the winners:

Stevie Wonder’s brilliant ‘Signed, Sealed and Delivered’ was on high rotation at the start of the year so two tracks from the album top the list. From there it’s Zhu Xiao Mei’s beautiful interpretation of the Goldberg Variations, some Hayden and a touch of Spoon to spare my top ten from being too lame.

Over each of the past 3 years, I’m listening to about 20,000 minutes of music. Is this a lot? No idea how would stack up against others. How much do you guys listen to?

And then, as expected, a desperate plea to come back. I’ll stick with Apple Music for the time thanks Spotify but thanks for the cool email!

  1. I didn’t know you have a thing for classical, can’t say I reach for that type of music often, but who know what the future holds! I mainly go to Spotify to play an album. And use YouTube for songs. Steve Wonder is on my radar, haven’t gotten to his albums yet.
