Yes, that’s right, that old classic porridge is back!
As a child I have wonderful memories of staying at my nana’s house and having porridge on cold Dunedin mornings. We’d get up, get the fire going and nana would make us both porridge – always with cream and brown sugar (healthy combination!) We’d eat at the table as the fire started to roar. Ahhh good memories.
Today I felt like good old fashioned porridge. Went out and got the ingredients. Boiled the water, added the rolled oats, added the banana and milk, cooked for five minutes and….
Breakfast is served!
So good. Probably not an every day type of breakfast with so much cream and all, but highly recommended!
